Drumming up support for Allister Brown's Guinness World Record Attempt!

Drumming up support for Allister Brown's Guinness World Record Attempt!

Allister Brown is about to attempt another Guiness World Record, this time for the longest drum roll! He currently holds the record for Longest Drumming Marathon (102 hours!) and this year is aiming to gain another title, all to raise money for a very important cause close to his heart.

In memory of his cousin, Cariss, who sadly passed away last year from Neuroblastoma (a rare cancer for children) Allister is hoping to raise as much money and awareness for two Northern Ireland charities - Cancer Fund for Children NI and Childrens Heartbeat Trust NI.

The Longest Drum Roll by an individual is 12hrs 5mins 7secs, and was achieved by Jayson Brinkler, Kent, on 16th May 2015. Allister is planning to complete a drum roll for 24 hours to become the new undefeated champion.

We were more than happy to show our support and helped Allister put together a new website to promote his World Record Attempt which takes place in Lisburn on Friday 4th November, 2016.

All donations are very welcome and can be sent online at www.gofundme.com/gwrdrumroll  or on the day ofthe event which will go towards both charities.  And if you're in the Lisburn area, please call into Music Matters Shop and show some support for our friend Allister!
